How large?

1. Tell the store/person not to feed the anemone for at least a couple days before. to avvoid regurgitation of food in the shipping bag.

Just make sure you have a very fine sand bed.

Also find out the lightening its under now, amount of time the lights are on. Anemones that are very large can also tear if you try to pick them up from their own wieght.

Open the bag first and check the smell and check water color in the bag. If there is alot of debris in the bag. Empty the anemone and half the water in a bucket and add some tank water. then do normal acclimation.

If the water is clean do a normal drip acclimation.

What do you mean by next week. You should def figure out a solid shipping schedule so that you can prepare. I would advise not leaving the animals in a shipping bad past 10 oclock am for overnight. You need to get it asap from the delivery service.

Why ask here on line /everyone is going to give you a different opinion
If I were you I would contact the person
that you are purchasing the anemone from
They can give you all the parameters that the anemone is in at this time
Duplicate what they are running untill it settles in

Both of the above posts are spot on.
I also would have also researched the hell out of anemones (haddonis in particular) before making a purchase so that you know you're 100% ready.

That said.. Good luck man! Make sure you post some pics when you do get the anemone situated.

Very nice! Good luck with those nice fish in the background. I think Haddoni's know which are the most expensive ones and feast on those first..... Lol. Hopefully you don't have to deal with that.

Lol.. I guess it all depends on the anemone itself. I owned one that ate every fish in my tank including the male clownfish that it hosted and some of my cleanup crew. I guess I was one of the unfortunate ones to have a greedy carpet :)
