Did you also put yourself in as a 'guest'? The system would assume there are 2 people looking to RSVP if you did it this way.

The event often sells out, so if you know you want to go it is best to reserve a ticket now.

Just show up and give your screen name at the entrance table and you will get a name tag etc.
