Led's to T5

I was a BIG LED fan but I finally decided to put up my ATI 8 bulb powermodule on the 60 cube that was sitting on the closet for a couple of months.
I was previously running an AI Vega and all I can say is WOW what a big difference!!! This ATI Powermodule is powerful i'll run this light for a few months and compare the growth!! It's looking like I am liking the T5 more and more I look at my tank.

Were you running one Vega or two? Kasei had one over his 60 and the coverage wasn't good enough, maybe for a softie tank if you raise it high. I thought the spectrum was nice though. T5's are great but I still like a point source light for vivid tip color and growth. I prefer halide/T5 mix at the moment. I have a feeling I will own an ATI/LED one day soon though

Just curious were you running an ATI T5 fixture? If vegas outgrow corals under an ATI T5 fixture then that's impressive.

What does team T5s think of the 72 inch, 12 bulb Aquaticlife T5 fixture? I have been using the fixture for years with good results, aside from changing bulbs every year.

To get maximum par and bulb life, it really depends if the unit cools the bulbs to the proper temps.

Nice I love this combination. I tried it with the ge 6500 bulb and its good as well but I like the coral+ much better
