For $85 I would be VERY cautious. I guess for that price though, it might be worth checking out one. If they are THAT good, maybe it will reduce the price of a real MP40.

I'm taking care of a buddies 150 while he is in florida and his korallia broke. I'll try one of these as a replacement.

A friend of mine was a huge proponent of Chinese pumps, namely Resun. He was always pointing out that well, since most products are made in China partly anyway, might as well buy directly from a Chinese company. So he did. After a month his return pump shorted inside his sump, and his tank was a goner. Luckily he was home so it did not propagate to the rest of his apartment.

Ecotech might be overpriced, but in this hobby like in anything, you get what you pay for (unless you are looking at the "deluxe sets" which in general are total BS). I personally prefer to be safe... we spend a lot of money on livestock, being cheap on the equipment when it is that important for our little critters safety (and ours) is not something I would do.

Seriously!!

For this price I might just get one and test it out. I would have a year of protection from my C.C. What kind of test would I be running though, aside from the obvious use?
