Swc200 VS AquaC Ev400 help me please

I have a swc200 for my 220gal reef build. My friend wants to trade his AquaC EV400.

Should I keep the swc200 or get the AquaC Ev400?

Which one is more powerful?

what is the swc skimmer rated for? if it is rated to fit your tank i would go with the swc. the reason is because the ev400 would need a pressure rated pump to run it the equivalent of a mag18!!! mow adays there are far mor efficiant skimmers which use alot less power.

oh and the ev400 probably would be more powerfull but an extra pump in your system could add more heat. what pump where you going to use to run the ev400

Mag18, you pretty much said all the worries I had of the AquaC. I know that one of the strenths of the Swc is reliablilty, and is more power efficient

But I can't find any info on what size reef is it rated for.

I hope its strong enough for my 220

Is this a new reef? If it is I would wait in the beginning. No need to rush and get one immediately you will have some time be fore is necessary . How ever you could use the time to save and get a newer one a little bit later.

Its a upgrade setup in the works. I have a 125gal reef now and the 220 waiting patiently in my garage

I have heard that the cws is a very reloable skimmer. Is the squad a reliable machine?
