new nano tank

i went to fistown today, got a new nano. $33 it has led lights, not too bright, may put some non photosynthic corals in it, and some palys or something. not too sure when i will set it up. i have a tiny seio pump, really small, maybe like 2 inches by 1 inch or so that will go in here

Whats the tray on the bottom for? Storage?

yeah lol not much room to store anything though i guess if it were used for fresh a small can of food on it's side would fit in there, not sure what else to store in there oh, maybe extra filter cartridges since they are tiny

It can be an acclimation tray! LOL :smile: Cool little tank. be sure to get some pix posted when you have it set up.

well, i added some rocks and water but the light definately is not bright enough. wish i knew how to wire led lights. i would switch them out. i might get one of those small power compact lights or clamp lamps and use those, but while it cycles i will keep it as is.

i was there today too, didn't see those tanks at fishtown..what part of the store were they in? the back?

i saw a display on the far right counter, they grabbed the tank for me, so not sure where they had them
