oh wow, is it ok?
I dropped an led unit in the tank once (it wasn't fully submerged as part of it was still connected to a wire) and i let it dry out/blow dryed it and it worked within 4 hrs.

I did the something before with my pacific sun black python. I immediately took it apart and cleaned every part off with q tips and a little diluted alcohol. Didn't give the saltwater anytime to do damage. Still working fine till this day

I did the same thing with a mp 20 driver. Didn't work at all. I opened it up dried it as best I could and then into a bag of rice and in the fridge for a few days. It works perfectly now.

dry off... and clean with paint thinner. I've dropped numerous things into liquid... paint thinner will clean off any circuit board(s) free of any debris and if there is a chance of anything lingering around this will take it right out.

You however don't need to take my word for it. (I've worked on Bosch computers for a few years modifying the programming and cleaning boards... and one of those computers are worth more than 4 Ai units)

sorry to hear joe.
if the paint thinner/alcohol/rice trick doesn't work, bring it over to thirty5's tank....plug it in and drop it in his tank.......it'll cure his cowfish's mysterious lymph/ich/pimple/cancer/nodule thing. ancient chinese secret, grasshopper....lol
