Hey all! Wanted to share my new 60g cube build.
Bought the 60g rimless deep blue cube and stand from russ @ Saltwatercritters.com (masterswimmer). Russ is an awesome guy and a great resource for help. He helped me so much.
CustomKing built me a custom sump and put together a sump, skimmer, & return pump package for a great price - His work is phenomenal. The sump is also a cube that fits perfectly within the stand. It has a filter sock intank, skimmer compartment, baffles, a return compartment, a fuge, and a 4.5 gallon ATO reservoir.
Went with a ReefAngel controller. Man does this thing rock. Out of the box you get your general controller items but if you want to code a bit the options are endless.
I have it controlling my Jebao WP-40 pump to operate at 35% for 8 seconds then at 70% for 8 seconds. Can't run this thing at 100% in this little tank - too much power! I am sure I will be changing and playing with the wave patterns.
Installed an Everygrow IT2040 light. Made a hanger with 1/2" conduit from home depot. Spray painted it black and bent it 90 degrees.
Installed a BRS dual GFO/Carbon kit.
Configured the rock in a 'pillar' fashion by building a PVC "X" foundation with cut fiberglass highway markers inserted through the drilled rock.
Built a matching cover for the wiring and controller (which I will still clean up).
