I've had a pair of clowns for about 2 months now, today I noticed one of them had been pooping for like 2 hours and it was white and stringy and only getting longer. I only feed frozen food (mysis and brine by hikari), new spectrum marine pellets and sometimes omega marine flakes. I haven't added fish ever since these guys and it is only these two in the tank. I did however add corals and a Scarlett reef hermit yesterday. Is this normal or should I be worried?

The best you can do is keep an eye on it and see if the fish takes a sudden turn for the worse, then you can assess what it is you want to do, unless you can find out exactly whats wrong (if there is something wrong). For now make sure the fish just keeps eating, and update if something gets worse. good luck!

Clownfish get internal parasite. You can treat it if it doesn't stop on its own. Some say it from fish not eating enough. You can add garlic to his food or vita chem. I would just feed them good and watch his poop. Takes about a week to go away.

I've been feeding mysis and brine alot with some new spectrum pellets. I heard that too much mysis could cause this so I'm going to feed more pellets and watch him for a few days. Still eating like a pig. Thanks!
