You could try to send RO water from the pressure tank to the ice maker, but if you have trouble with low pressure, then run from right after the carbon block.

Thanks. I was thinking less of pressure issues, than getting good pure water in the icemaker......
The pressure/ storage tank for drinking water supply builds up its own pressure from the bladder compression, doesn't it?

Right. When the tank is full, and assuming you have a standard ASOV, the tank pressure will be 66% of the feedwater pressure.
