I suggest you set it up under the kitchen sink or bathroom sink.. and run a Clean pipe from the RO/DI to your tank top of valve. Split the clean pipe into two.. one goes to your water storage container with a float valve switch or something similer, to make your RO/DI and store it (possibly in a 50 gal plastic trash can) for your weekly or bi-weekly water changes (you can possibly store this in your garage with a heater in the water, so the water won't freeze up. And the second split of the clean pipe.. run it straight to your sump with another float switch. This way.. you'll never have to worry about anything over filling nor the RO freezing up... and you won't have to top it off manually every day. If you have a basement this would be very easy to hide the pipe. If not.. you can get the little cable wire clamps (see pic) and run them along the flooring of your walls to your tank.. just above the moldings. You can even paint the tubing to match your wall pain.. this may keep your significant other happy.. if they find the white tubing to be an eye sore. :)

My RODI unit has been in my unheated garage for the last three winters and it works just fine. If your exterior walls are cinder block and there are common walls with the interior, it will never get anywhere close to freezing. Even on the coldest days, the temperature in my garage never gets below the lower 50's. Just saying.
