"Myself and Mojo Reef invented this Kent Tech method long ago. You are doing fine. However, I have no clue if you stop dosing Vinegar it will have a better impact or not on the Bryo. We still have no clue why only Kent Tech works, other than some unknown substances in it. Lastly, the Internet has taken this method and has run off the deep end with it. Meaning, it DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK. It is a method that has worked for SOME". C and P from Boomer.

Kent Marine Tech-M

General Information:
Tech?M Magnesium

The preferred method is to test the magnesium level in your aquarium first and then add Tech?M at the rate of 1 ml per gallon aquarium capacity per day to bring the level to between 1250 and 1350 ppm.

This will raise the level by 18.3 ppm per day. As a routine supplement, add two teaspoons (2 capfuls or 10 ml) per 50 gallons tank capacity every week in all marine systems.

Ingredients:
Deionized Water, Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate.

All i see, is what i mean, Mg. Chloride and Mg.Sulfate, now u NEVER now what u kill by using this, in top of that u increase salinity, change PH, reduce O2, bump Ca, increase stress on corals, etc. i prefer to control PO4, is just my opinion.
_______________

You invented this ?
You have proof of this?
Boomer I am pretty sure found this out

Don't know what my Mg is at right now but...I've been dosing Tech M for 2-3wks every day 1/2c. I know the level is up there.
Jerl is correct about no adverse effects on snails. The day I started dosing, I added 1/2dozen Astrea snails. They are all doing very well. I see them out every night eating away at any algae that is now exposed as the bryopsis dies off. (Told you my situation was bad).
And the quote from Boomer was from a thread I started. That was one of his replies to me.
