Ok...finally got my **** together to move to NY. My 90 gallon rr tank blew a seal while I was tearing it down...is it worth hauling it to NY with me and fixing it there or should I just buy a new one after I get there?

If your rock was in good shape (not loaded with phosphate & nitrate) I would keep it all, otherwise sell it and buy new (not previously owned) LR.

..and I agree with the opinions above to leave the old tank behind and get a new one after you settle in.

Definitely not worth moving with stinky stuff in a moving truck... Sell it all salvage whatever $$$ amount you can get off it... and keep things that are easier to pack up... ie... controllers... lighting (Maybe selling this off is good as well depending on brand) calcium reactors... etc.... whatever can fit in a box would be more suited for travel than a broken tank and death and decaying rock.

Ok guys. Great advice. I think the only thing I've decided to keep is my lighting system and my salt. I'm selling everything else. I'll hit you guys up again after I get everything moved and get all settled in. I'm moving to Brooklyn.
