Tip for Packing DI Resin

You know those little annoying candles your wife buys, I think they call them tea lights? They have the perfect shape to fit into the DI resin cartridge. Fill it up as much as possible, use the tealight in the aluminum wrapper to compact the resin and lift it out by the wick.


Not only can you pack your di resin as tight as can be, but you can also take interest in something your wife likes. "You know what I love honey, those cute little candles you use when company comes over, I think you should use them more often".

Just changed out my resin and I was looking for something to pack it down. Red solo cups didnt work and a beer bottle almost fit. I packed it in as good as I could have. I was able to fit all the resin in.

Beer bottles. Just as good, cheaper and gives you an excuse to drink one.

I use the aiptasia x bottle. Fits snug all around the canister of the di cartridge

i just keep tapping the canister on the counter until it won't go anymore.... never had a problem.....
