Blue zoo aquatics has a 7 day warranty. Live aquaria! Pet solutions and live fish direct has a 14 day warranty. Not sure about local places.

Some of these places may ask you to bring in a water sample to test, to make sure it wasn't your conditions that killed the fish.

Petco has a 15 day warranty on fish. Will all the Petco haters they are confident enough in their stock and care to warranty their fish.

not if the fish is bought in the store at petco unless they changed their policy. cant speak for other stores but at the prices the store i work at sells fish and coral for we cant guarentee them, divers den is 2-5x our price for same fish so easy to give a live guarentee when price is that much more

My receipt says only FW fish are warrantied.

Why any store would warranty a fish or coral is crazy even if the fish/ coral are transshipped. How easy is it to buy live stock have it die in your tank (whether it's the hobbyist fault or not) pluck the body out grab fresh made saltwater add a few drops out of the display add to the test sample and bring to the store to test and get a free replacement. The store has no way to tell if the water is fresh or old other then Ph test and thats an easy fix. Trites Trates ph ammonia salinity are very easy to fix in a test sample. So any store that's giving a guarantee or warranty is paying low margin on live stock and charging 3.5-4 X mark up on live stock so of course they will give a buyer a guarantee. Playing the odds also fish dies are they A gonna fish it out and drive back to the store B can they recover the body before it's eaten by CUC And C can they find it. Most fish his when first introduced to the tank so where are they hiding it's an odds game with high mark up low cost
