The problem with this show is that they were a company building tanks who got turned into a company designing aquariums... not good at all.

Seeing how even pros have problems with large scale installations (look on the RC section about large tanks for some horror stories), someone who is basically an amateur and who does not have the time to do actual research is not going to get very far...

That's actually a compliment, since they are now partnered with Petco

alfie i spoke with them personally and they are not affiliated with petco at all..

The only thing they had done for them was build that 3 tank thing at there main building.....

who would want to be affiliated with that horrible company

I also spoke to them about there way of introducing fish to a new tank and was completely the wrong way of going about it. They told me they have a few commercial bacterias they add to the water (which is BS) and stated that the have lost a very minimum compared to what they have put in the tanks they show....

petco sells their product ( I know nothing to do with affiliation ) but some one from Petco told me "yes those clowns are affiliated with us"

i wouldn't doubt it... cause his whole message to me was full (OF BS).... I get very annoyed when it comes to caring for fish and the way its introduced to a tank. they simply just fill a tank up, use that BS live sand and add that BS bacteria to the tank that we don't see an hope the fish they add live. Horrible business practice if you ask me. i tried to get on them about it but they have excuses and horrible responses for everything.

I even told them to let me come to one of there setups in the same email and he didn't even respond to that at all just ignored it. i attached a pic of my tank and showed them what a real reef tank is and still nothing. Obviously they are about making quick bucks and don't care about the livestock whatsoever ....

they love fake coral inserts

they have set one up... in one episode the set up a reef tank... with sps, and they didnt cycle it.
