I saw the DC pump in action a few days ago being used on a skimmer ( Skimz ) and as a return pump ( Waveline ). If anyone used these pump, can you give me some info on them before I head in that direction. How long you had it for? Any problems? Customer service?

I have 2 Waveline pumps one on my skimmer (DC 6000 Gen 2)and one for my current build (DC10000 Gen 2). Very quite and efficient pump, though I have yet to use the DC 10000. Customer support is pretty good, had the first generation of DC6000 go on me, was completely replaced by RLSS along with the new skimmer bottom plate. Other than that it's a pump and does what it supposed to.

Dc6000 for about 10-11 months. Dc10000 is still in the box

I got a jabeo 6000 on my 90 it's dead silent and moved a lot of water I can't even turn it up all the way so far it's a great pump

i dont no if your looking for info like this as well. Running this skimmer with the DC pump it comes with. It is a monster, its pretty dope. Working really well for us right now its been running about 3 weeks now.

I'm thinking about running a DC skimmer and return pump. I just dont want to invest in these new pumps and they dont last over a yr

hey what brand is better quality between the Jebao and Waveline?

I had a DC5000 on my skimmer and it dies after 8 months. I just got a DC6000 as a replacement from RLSS but it took 2 weeks to get from HK.

was it the pump or the power pack that died?

I am currently running a speedwave 10,000 dc pump as my return pump. To my understanding it's the same pump as the waveline. The power supply went out after a few months and it took about a month to get a replacement. Overall i think the pump is solid and quiet, but the controller and power adapter seem cheap and prone to early malfunction.

Did some reading and Waveline sound like a better choice. When my skimmer pump went it was what I believe the controller not the power pack. The replacement came from RLSS from Canada. Obviously that's not where they are manufactured. Waveline is the only pump that had upgraded their controller and from what I have read, the previous controller rights were either sold or allowed to be used by other pumps.

ok good info. I guess that's the reason why waveline is alil more pricier than jebao

Wave lines have had a lot more Issues than the jebao

Perhaps you hear more problems with waveline then jebao because when jebao breaks ppl don't really expect anything from them in the first place. Lol. Not advocating, I myself think that though this is a great concept, these pumps are fairly new to the industry.

No I've heard issues with jebao also me being one of them having an issue with jeabo just not as much as waveline ..
A lot of the power supplies on jeabo do last long
