bubble algae

how can i get rid of bubble algae. i bought a coral frag and there was some on there and i started to see it elsewhere now too does anyone have any suggetions in what to do.

Take the frag OUT of the tank and scrape off as much of it as you can see..then rinse it multiple times with tank (or SW) to knock off any spores that were released when you broke off the 'bubbles'.
Do this wherever you see it in the tank. If there are places you can't remove it while out of the tank, try emerald crabs.


When buying frags, it's a good practice to remove the frag plugs - if possible - whenever you can, and definitely if you see any algae growing on them.
