Tank Cycle Using Microbe-Lift

I'm cycling my tank with this. My question is, do I keep on my skimmer and phosban ( carbon ), or do i leave them off till i'm finish using this product?

If you have live rock why are you using that??

I don't think all of it is live. I got it off a member. All the water is new. I just want to be on the safe side

Even if some is live your fine. Any creatures living in there now?

No corals but there are a few zoas that's alive in there.

How long has the rock been in there?

The guy I got it from said he had the rock and a container with heat and power head. And once I got it I did the same. Now it's been in the tank for about 4/5 days. I just out 350 ml of it inside the tank

The live rock will have have the nitryifing bacteria bacteria to complete the initial cycle rather quickly, if not instantly. The issue is that as you increase biololad your tank must grow more bacteria to deal with increased waste level. Cyano is pretty much inevitable, as is a diatom bloom. Microbe-lift special blend is great to dose if you're impatient like me
