Mag Drive 18 O-Ring

I was having starting up issues with my mag 18 return pump, so after a series of unsuccessful quick fix solutions I decided to just let it soak in some vinegar for a day to see if that will solve my problem..... Well 1 day turned into 4 days..... While putting it back together I noticed that the O-Ring almost doubled in size and it is no longer able to fit on the pump..... Is there anyway to shrink the O-Ring back to its normal size so I can troubleshoot the startup issue?

Try soaking it for a day in tap water until you don't smell the vinegar and then let it dry out for a few days. Hopefully it'll shrink again to fit. If you don't have the time and if that doesn't work then you should buy a new O-Ring. I find with the mag pumps they lock up sometimes even when the impeller assembly is totally clean.

Yea that's what I fear..... I will try soaking it and see if that work...... At this point I am thinking about just getting the jebao DC 1200
