There's also Aquatic Obsession in Avenel. Will the store manager/owner is there almost all the time and he's pretty knowledgeable guy on fish and coral.

r and r aquatics....in washington twnshp rt 17north.....they are a mr vendor....not a brick and mortar storefront and the price reflects as such......good quality and super reasonable prices plus knowledgeable guys.

Ocean gallery has a nice mixture and prices are in a good median. 30-45mins
Absolutely fish has the best fish and decent coral selection but prices are a little higher because they have one of the best supporting staff. rt46w Clifton 20-30mins
Reef encounter owner is a nice guy if your cool with him or a reoccurring buyer. decent fish selection but nothing outstanding. coral selection sucks and often dying or overpriced. Hackensack - 15mins
R&R will be closer to 30-40mins - as tom stated they're good guys and sell out of their basement. Their selection is as such with not too a many high end but nice high ends in their display they were growing out.
Aquatic obsessions has an overall nice selection with prices in decent to just above it. They would be my close to 1st choice if they were closer to where I live.
It depends on what you want but you can't go wrong with AO, OGII or Absolute.

Def closed Greg, I talked to them too on two Saturdays ago and back last Tuesday to a note on the doors saying closed. Sad situation.
