Crashed Tank

Hey guys,

my tank crashed while I was in training. This is the problem, I have 3 5lbs live rocks that is just COVERED in algae.. they have some zoas and mushrooms that survived the crash. Theres like maybe total of 20 of them and abuot 10 mushrooms. They arent doing so well.. however, i wanna save them without putting into my new set up.. What should I do..?

Everything is prettyyy bad so I made a 20long tank with all new clean fresh saltwater to put those rocks in for now.

You should have done 15% water changes every two days until your parameters were at a more reasonable level. Placing your rocks into newly made saltwater is going to kill off any beneficial bacteria that was on them and cause a re-cycle.
What's the size of the tank that crashed?
