You're shipping a 300dd to LA ?... I thought that most large tanks out there are acrylic because of the earthquakes.

I have a 24" sun power on my 36" tank and it is plenty of light.

I would think a 60" would be plenty. even if you get the 8 bulb units you're saving hundreds of dollars on the 1 60"unit vs 2 36" units.

Also the bulbs on 60" are around $25 ea. When you change bulbs on that unit you're looking at around $200. 36" bulbs are around $24 ea. You're looking at $380 to change those bulbs.

You will have plenty of light and the 6" on each side of the tank is nothing when comparing the savings.
