What dimensions should a sump be for a 120gal 48x24x25 tank? Thanks

As large as your situation allows. Some people are restricted by the size of the stand the tank sits on, others are not. Just make sure the sump can, at least, handle ALL of the overflow from the tank in the event of power loss using Reef Central's Sump Volume Calculator.

Thanks thats a neat little tool. Wel I put the measurements in the calculator and it came up with 10 gallons. It seems s,mall for a 120gal. Thanks
