I have a 180gal, LxWxH 72x24x24. I am using 2 x ReefBreeders Photon 32. This is really more than enough as I am only set 50% of blue/white.
I am growing LPS, softies and now I am successful with SPS.

I have a vortex 360 a 5 foot light on a 6 foot 300 gal tank. I love the light and features . only down side is the price but you do get what you pay for in the long run I think

With a 3' high tank, you will definitely need optics on whichever light you choose. Also since you need optics, remember that the spread will not be as much, so you might need more modules then the average tank that can get away with 3 modules for that length.
