96 watt quad aqualight for 10gallon

wassup......i was wondering if a aqualight 96 watt quad PC would be too strong for a 10 gallon tank with some soft corals?........or would a 28 watt aqualight give enough light?

I dont know if the 28 would be enough but I'm pretty sure the 96w is overkill, especially for softies. Besides that, the heat from the lights, unless mounted far enough above the tank would overheat the tank and cause a hell of a lot of evaporation.

I have that quad over a 10g and loved it - I kept some easy to keep SPS in there as well. I say it's ovefrkill for softies as well, but you can shorten the photo cycle if you're worried about heat/algae
