Overflow question if anyone can answer it.

hello everyone. the question is how can I make overflow slots? I'm trying to build my own overflow and i need to know how to cut those slots so water can go thru. what tool or bit is needed. thanks

I'd say it all depends on your skill. You can do it with a simple hand saw, a router, a dremel, a table saw, anything that cuts basically.

If you have a table saw you could back it up with a piece of wood and cut vertically and move appropriate distance to next slot

Yeah you could sandwich it between two pieces of wood the plexi and then run it over table saw with the blade up a little bit and that would give you your slots real quick
