Stop all flow for a few hours and hit them with aptasia x. Go overboard on the amount you use. Then add a dozen large peppermint shrimp. The ones I got from pop corals mowed down all my aptasia and I haven't seen one since.

Use the aptasia x for a few days in a row as you see new ones that were hiding or didn't die yet.

You don't need any chemicals. Get yourself a couple different size syringes so you can get in most area of the tank. Boil some fresh ro water and work quickly blast them with the boiling water when they retreat into there hole. If the water cools even a little put it back on the stove and boil it again.
I have been using this method for a long time and it really works.

Hey Brand the cooper band die because of starvation. mine ate at the LPS when i bought it but when home didn't wanna touch the brine shrimps they used to eat at the LFS. what i did was went and bought live black worms and he starting eating a lot more. remember in the wild coopperband butterfly only eat micro stuff from rocks, live worms, clams and i believe scallops. i was feeding mine frozen worms but he just eat one or two and that was it. they need and like their prey alive. onces he saw blackwork moving he went feeding frenzy. when i used to breed half-moon better fish black worms was my choice for conditioning the fish. now my coopperband is hardy and healthy enough and he eats a few o other frozen food

a good trick I learned for using the kalk is after you inject them the little bit that fall on the surrounding corals use a turkey baster and blow it of that's what I have been doing and honestly it works great and ive had no coral deaths I notice that being a problem on my polyps when some kalk would fall on them try it out

I have had good success with feeding my copperband frozen clam. When I first got him it took awhile for him to accept food. Try soaking the food with garlic. This seemed to get mine eating. I don't think mysis is nutritious enough to support them. I see no aptasia in my DT since I added the copperband and he has not picked on any acans or other LPS.

The boiling water method works. As Rob said, boil ro water and use a syringe. It worked well. There is a YouTube video on this.
