As Chris mentioned, if you don't have the money for that then get two Tunze 6060s or two Tunze 6080s. The 6060 and 6080 models are the non controlable ones. They are cheaper than the controlable versions.

Seios are complete wothless junk that I wouldn't put in my tank if they were free.

Some of the MR venders carry them. Tony from Reef Exotics keeps them in stock.

No... I didn't say that. Non-controllable tunzes are not the same as the controllable ones. Go to Tony @ www.reefexotics.com. MR supporter. Get the controllable ones if you can. 6100's are best for a 6 foot tank.
You can also get Vortechs and deal with their fantastic customer service when they fail. (sorry Fred... I had to throw that one in there.)
BTW, the Tunze 7095 multi controller will put out an audible (almost obnoxious) alarm when the Tunzes are unable to run at their fullest potential due to the need for maintenance. It's their way of saying you need to clean them. Tunze are worth the price if you ask me.

makes a wave action as well as a photocell for moonlight on a 29 day cycle, feed mode, set each individual pump(up to 4, but 2 are good enough for your needs) to the speed you need, audible alarm when they need to be cleaned... it's a great piece of equipment. I believe you can get the 6000's for now if you'd like to save a couple of bucks. By changing the transformer, you'll have a 6100 without losing any money. Overall, 2 pumps and contoller cost around $800

ive got 2 seios in my 125 and i'm not then happy with the flow, i couldnt afford tunzes
dont get me wrong i cant afford them myself,,but i will be putting money away myself for my 90gal upgrade i have the tank already but that wont go up no time soon cause i need lights and all,but my pops can,so he asked me to check on it and i dont want to get the wrong thing so i have to decide controller or no controller.is the controller a must,i would think not but it does have some cool features.

Dee, If you can fit a 90, you can fit a 120. Don't make the same mistake I did. If I bought a 120 from day 1, I would not have a 180 now. DO NOT BUY A 90!!! Misleading size.
For your dad, go Tunze, so he has a quality piece of equipment that will do well for him. Reliable and low maintenance. Just what he would like.

well i have the 90 already and i like the size.see the thing is that i believe my floor wont hold anything above the 90.im scared of something bigger crashing through my floor possibly hurting the people under me.but i guess the control isnt everything .im treating the tank as if its my own being that i am putting all of my time into it,but at the same time i want my folks to be happy too.well im going tunze and the next time i take pics ill update the tank thread.hey guys thanks big time, ya helped me out on making this decisioneven though it was one sidedd with tunze being the winner.lol.

blah, blah, blah... what's an extra 240 pounds? I hated my 90 with an overwhelming passion. I wanted to get the 120 upgrade, but I could not upgrade 30 gallons (240 lbs.) so I said F--- it and got a 180. A 4 foot 120 is such a great size.

Good choice. If you need to upgrade to the 6100's, you will not lose any money. The 6000's on a controller will do just what you need in a 125. Good luck.
