SSB for 120 gal. sand, pumps, any other reccommendations?

I plan on upgrading my 55gal which had a DSB to a SSB in my coming very soon 120gal pre drilled tank. I would like a SSB for aesthetic reasons. What type of sand do you suggest? I read about Aragamax sugar sized sand which is white. I am looking to use my existing LR and get some nice fish then eventually get back into a reef environment like I did to my 55gal. Any other suggestions for the pump ( I am thinking about the MAG 24) I have the compact reef devil skimmer which I am looking for a new sump and not sure exactly what I want to do for the sump yet. Any other ideas thanks.

Ditch the mag. If you are looking for an nice inexpensive return, try the Pan World pumps.
