That's how life works, that's why I laugh when people go:
"Wahhhhhhh the sky is falling, everything is going extinct! We have to stop this!"
Truth be told, humans need to watch their own @ss. Mother nature ain't worried. The ants, roaches and mice will be eating our dead bodies and life will go on just as it always has. They've discovered these new "things" (for lack of a better term) called nanobes. They aren't sure where they come from but some of them have very odd behaviors, like digesting plastic in large amounts!
It's funny to be so egotistical to think that we could possibly have such an impact on this planet. The worst we could do is make it inhospitable to us, life on Earth however won't miss a beat. Asteroids, ice cages, volcanos, tsunamis, drought, disease, reverse of the magnetic poles all of these are a quiet Tuesday afternoon to Earth.
