i noticed some flatworms in my seahorse tank some time ago. since they don't move i didn't think anything of it. well i've noticed their numbers increasing and now i see a bunch of eggs on the mat of some zoos smack in the middle where the flatworms hang out. i need some help in killing these buggers. here's what i plan:

1- siphon as many as i can out

2- remove the zoos w/ the eggs and scrub the eggs off

3- should i use flatworm exit?

4- will it affect any of my softies or LPS?

5- how many treatments?

i guess i should run some carbon after treating the tank. how am i sure those are flatworm eggs and not snail eggs?

rarez i took the info from melev and put it to use. last night i went huntin' on these biatches!

1- tied a small media bag to some tubing and started siphoning out some of the evil doers

2- put the end w/ the media bag in the sump and let gravity do it's job.

3- end result(trapped!) sorry for the blurry pic

i will continue this process for the next week and then add FWE(flatwormexit) once i feel the numbers have dwindled to almost nothing.
this way the toxins from the dead flatworms won't create a big problem

pnoy- you can't just treat once. you have to treat several times to ensure a better success rate. you have to remember some are in the egg stage when you add the FWE. you have to treat again once the eggs hatch and again and maybe again...

On my first 2 treatments I use the exact dosage I think 21or 22 drops of FWE and when they came back I did 30 drops and to the point I did 40 on my last treatment on frustration lol......
