Collecting in LI

Can anyone tell me how to get started collecting fish in the Long Island Bays ?

Check out the Long Island Reef Association (LIRA) They do some collecting over the summer. I am thinking about joining myself.

My grandparents left me thier house on Shinnicock Bay. I will contact LIRA, try to get something togther. The Bay is literally the back yard. I just received ownership this weekend. Hope to meet uo with ya.

Yeah that would be great. I go out there and collect on my own all of the time.
