Only problem based on the description is that it states that a pair can support up to 22 lbs.
Most light fixtures like my TEK light is way over 22 lbs.
The cable grips that I bought for the fixtures seems to work well, did you look into those?
They were from reefgeeks.com

Also,

I would argue that they would rott/rust out over a marine tank (over time)

I would double check with the manufacturer on whether or not they are reef safe.

yea ... while i like the pendants, maybe not the best way to go on this ... back to the drawing board
