i just pulled this out of my closet to use it and ingredients read "Iron, Calcium, magnesium, selenium, molybdenum and Copper.

is this ok to use? or am i an idiot and this is a different kind of copper.

Throw it out. Weiss products are crapola anyway and there is only one copper that I know of.

yes, even worse. Some of his products actually contain apple juice (so i've seen from tests run on them)

I used one of his products before and my tank broke out in those hard snails. It is too much of a coincidence to use it 2 or 3 times in a two year old system and to have that type of outbreak I did. The container claimed to make my LR explode with colors and it did except with purple little snails. Something in that product helped that species spawn like crazy.
