Hope someone can help.

I changed out the prefilters and the di resin and it seems that the output from the di is alot less with the new filters. I didn't change the ro at all. Pressure at the tap is 60 psi. Also I changed the di housing to a new verticle housing. I flushed the prefilters out and also tested the psi right before the ro and its still 60 psi. After the ro it drops down to 45 psi entering the di cartridge.

I haven't actually tested the output ratio but it seems much less than before. Before the change I was getting almost 3 to 1. Now it looks like 4 or 5 to 1. Just wanted to know if anyone had the same experience.

Thanks.

If you are getting a 4:1 ratio - that's your target, so that's fine.

Your pressure gauge should be installed between your last prefilter and the in port on the RO membrane housing.

The output of your system (specifically the RO membrane) is most affected by pressure and temperature.
