my ro/di filters is starting to get exhausted, on my tds meter is reading 1 ppm. i was wondering how much more i can stretch it to still be acceptible, maybe to 5,6,7,ppm? before i change the filters. thx in advance

Nothing wrong with that ;) I guess it all depends on what the 4-6 ppms that are getting through your filters, consist of. They may be an inert element which will have no effect on your tank, or they might be something more evil :batangel:

thx for ur advice but im going to replace the filters today, is not worth saving a couple of dollars now and end up regreting it later by spending more money and effort to repair the damage.
