New tank syndrome

Hey all, so I started a 125 reef tank and wanted to share its build with everyone , anyway let me start from the beginning,,, I for a while wanted to get a bigger tank, and after following BRS TV I fell in love with their 160 build. so after a few months, I decide to take the leap and upgrade the system. My current system is only a 3 year old 55 gallons, so yeah its a big upgrade, I followed the brs160 to the T, besides the size of the tank, the return pump and the lightning, I'm staying with my radions, 3 too be exact and 2 blue giessman 80w retrofits, for supplemental lighting. Although I think the radion's will be plenty of light (Have to use the new Neptune meter to make sure) so in order to get the bigger tank to fit, I had to cut out the current closet, but had to get the closet back or the wife would be ticked lol...I did loss about 3 inches in the living room, but once the tank was set into place, my wife fell in love with it...woohooo..

Update

OK so it was a little busy today but I did manage to get the zeovit reactor in and the marinepure blocks in the refuguim area..also I was able the rinse the sand and do alittle aquascaping.. I used tropic eden reef flakes.

OK all! Its been some time now,, been a little busy over here. So here are some updated photos of the build, the photos are of the sump,apex & canopy frame, retro fit to hold 2 80 watt t5 bulbs and 3 radions..all I have left to do is the facing of the canopy and the cabinet on the kitchen side to finish the build.. I still have a few more days before I can start moving some coral in to the new system.. So keep an eye out for it..

Looks good, what are your plans for hiding the overflow plumbing pipes?

Im planning on making two murals using sea shells we've collected on vacations.. I thought it would be a nice touch considering the build will be a very big display.. In gonna use cardboard, spray it with adhesive then spread sand, then place the shells..to cover the sides of the cardboard, I have to make another trip to home depot to pick up a beige plastic bullnose..the stuff you use to bullnose tiles...sorry it took a while to reply...busy night ....tomorrow I start the facing of the canopy.. Woohoo..I'll update soon!

Ok!!! We have a canopy,, total cost for it was $110 bucks, if anyone wanted to know.
