anyone bought from these guys b4? they are selling this t5 with 6 x 39w bulbs for $250, with 5 years warranty on the ballast, worth to give it a try?

Not if it doesn't include individual parabolic highly-polished reflectors. Kind of difficult to tell from their picture.

i was going to order the 2x250s but i came across a better deal for the $250 i was going to spend there.

I bought my retro fit from them......They be ok for retro fits and heaters etc.
They are also the same people that call themselves Catalina aquarium products, and pet supply liquidators.You can also find them on Epay
DO NOT BUY EXTRA LIGHT BULBS FROM THEM!!!
Their quality control SUX ( as well as their customer service)
They sent me the wrong bulb 3 times in a row.
They sent it with postage due (even thou the postage was prepaid by me)
They also said they would refund me for some items - which they NEVER did :scratch:
My 10k 250w MH bulbs (all three of them), went out in less than 2 1/2 months.

BUT- I have NEVER had a problem with the retrofit hood itself or the titanium heaters i got!
