When I was a teen first gettin into aquariums, I cleaned and used a 5 gallon bucket for water changes that my mom used to make pickles in. Add cucumbers, salt, spices; put a stone or heavy weight on it and store in a cool dark place for couple weeks.

Just a thought if people want DIY pickles and have a bunch of buckets around.

I use one for my top off water with a hole drilled in the lid for the tube that goes into my sump and wire for the pump.
Its hidden behind a 3000 watt Subwoofer next to my tank stand.
Kinda dangerous with new Metallica out and all.:thrash::thrash::banghead::banghead:

Imagine being on someones boat 30 miles from land.....with no bathroom.
nuff said!

30 miles from land? Dude, that's what the ocean is for!!!!!! You won't be polluting it any more than the fish are.

We used to have a dozen or so spackle buckets on a job site. The rule was, if it was light (no weight to it) and the lid was on it, DON'T OPEN IT!!!!!

Ummmm how bout guest chairs?

Line up 10 each in 2 rows(20 total buckets) you got a guest bed ;)

Play the cup stack game on a larger scale ;)

Take em to the pet shop to pick up some wrasse:Blurp:

When you see a cockaroach on the floor, flip the bucket over and put it over the roach til someone with enough guts to kill it comes home:eek:

Don't forget using them as drums(think music):D

Use a 5g bucket for the storage or a 2g bucket:cool:

Those are just a few. I'm bored.
