Skimming with no skimmate?

I purcahsed a Euro-reed RS-80 a month ago, the skimmer is running with alot of bubbles in there but the thing is there is not much skimmate?? Around the collection cup I do see "brown stuff" attached but they are not enough to go inside the cup. I used to clean up the collection cup with my old skimmer once aweek without a RO unit, is that becoz I'm using the RO water now?

I have a 90G with a 30G sump & a 20G refugium, 6 small size of fish. I feed them 2 cubes of food once in 2 days.

the water level is really high already...is it not high enough?

nope... it looks really really low... i have my asm g3 which is the knockoff of euroreefs skimmers and i usually have it dialed in so its about half way up the cup and i let it be ... check ur air intake (make sure its cleaned)... in all my recc. is to raise the level in the skimmer so that the bubbles (water level) reach the middle of the skimmer cup...

O....ic I had the G3 skimmer before...tht was stronger than the euro-reef
