Is it good to add garlic to fish food for overall health I feed my fish mysis n brine also sheets of seaweed for the tangs

I only tried garlic extract on the food when ever I saw a ick breakout. I would say try to get them to eat it when there not sick so that when they are you can treat and they would already be adjusted to the taste. My fish didn?t love it. Also watch the garlic extract it is intense in smell. I use to put gloves on and use throw way cups.
Not sure if that helps but I was thinking of trying it one week a month to make sure they would take it when they need it.

Ive been using it but also saw online that it causes damage as well so its pretty much dam if u do dam if u dont still debating on wheter to krrp using it or not

Garlic is meant to stimulate the appetite of fish. I've only used it when adding a new fish that's having issues eating. Once they're eating, I no longer add any garlic. I don't see any added benefits of giving garlic to fish that is already eating.

ive always used garlic when feeding frozen and I have not seen any negative effects. Again, everyone has their own opinion but I personally like using it and will continue to do so. All personal preference

I like to feed foods for my fishes. I used to feed roasted garlic twice in a week.

Use ginger. Add the organic ginger powder to the food. Gets rid of ick everytime

I have heard that garlic long term is bad for them. Like was said it’s good for fish that won’t eat or getting them to eat medicated food. Thanks
