What’s up MR family. Hope all of you guys and your families are safe and away from this madness. I have not posted in sometime because my wife just gave birth to our beautiful little princess and we finally moved back to NYC. I’m going to share a few photos and videos of the new build but here is the Apex mounting board to start off with. I want to give my boy Rich C a shout-out for 3D printing all the inserts for me. The mount is in the office/fish room and 300 gallon main display tank is in the other side of the living room.

Looks great Rasheed. I had a very clean setup on my Reefer350. But my only issue was when I changed a few things it threw me off and now it’s not as nice. I’m going more functional on my current build. Ease of access being paramount.

Thanks brotha! Lets just say that it's not as easy as folks make it out to be because of the some of the Apex chord lengths, Getting behind the mount and properly positioning each gadget. The whole mount actually swings open and the two DJ lights really saved me so I save the outlets I need to use for now. I also have 3 other EB8's. One under the sump, one by the water change system and one under the main display tank.

Yes the different cord lengths is maddening. I’m going to be getting at least one more EB832 for under the tank for all my mp40s and lights. I have one in the basement with the sump. I will use a regular dj power strip in addition down there for other odds and ends. I’m not hiding wires. Just zip tying them together as neatly as possible. The power inverter blocks are Velcroed together and will be mounted up on a wall out of the way. They’re also a pia because of the different sizes. My pump controllers are mounted to a wall for the sump. The mp40 and radion controllers and power blocks will be under the tank on a panel.

It’s a pain but definitely worth it man. Plus now with the extra time, it’s great time to do some stuff. The little one definitely brought us a lot of joy during this crazy time. Here is something my buddy Rich recommended for wire management that really helped! You can get it on Amazon. Here is also a pic of little Lara knocking out on daddies chest after watching the tank..
