i have a elegance coral... Thing is massive wondering do they split? can they be fragged?

I was curios how big an elegans should be to frag it. And how you do it.anyone with opinions or experience?

I'm going to say no, it's like cutting a non branching hammer, or bubble coral. Though, it was "cut" from the reef before.

Yes and no. but risky. It must have a mouth otherwise it will starve. I have a cut piece from LFS for 4 months and doing fine. I have yellow tip.

it is risky to cut elegance corals. You risky of killing it. You will need band saw. if you do cut it, Make sure you give it iodine dip right after cutting it.
