Corals can be frag-ed, but what happens to the fish that got too aggressive as it grew, or the cleaner shrimp that looks like a small lobster, or the crabs that are big enough for a meal for two.
What do you do with these misfits that no one wants. Just asking.

Sell em or trade em to the guy that has the tank that you are jealous of

Ya know the ones....Mr 4000.....or....those 300-500 gallon guys. Unless you are one of em, they might like em.

Sometimes you can donate to aquariums too. If not, sell it back to the lfs you got it from if they will take it.
good luck.

If the crabs are big enough for a meal or two, why not eat them?

I have never heard of cleaner shrimp outgrowing tanks.

I'm buying a tank to use as a sump that has a v-tail grouper that my LFS doesn't want right now.

I'm kinda stuck with him, and I certainly take his health seriously even though I am just getting him as part of a package.

Well, if you went into this completetly blind and had no plan and did no research, I suppose that could happen. And if the above is true, have seafood

. Now, if oone has approached this in the proper manner(LMAOROTF), this won't happen to animals that can't be fragged. Of course some of us remember that term with a different connotation, and would frag the offending individual
