Heck, send the person some by US Priority Mail. Many macro's are tough and can last being sent by Priority Mail. Just package it up real well.

I would say something other than Caulerpa sp.

Seriously tho, there are *many* other macroalgaes besides Caulerpa sp. that will do the trick as well. Chaetomorpha sp., Ulva sp., etc. Check out Inland Aquatic's website for an extensive listing of macroalgaes: http://www.inlandaquatic.com/ . Also, Midland Marine also sells a very good macroalgae for refugiums called Chaetomorpha linum:

However it looks like they're out of stock. Inland also carries this macroalgae btw. Or you could also get some off E-Bay as well. Do a search for macroalgae.

If anyone has extra, I'd love to get some macroalgae in my mailbox.

I'm setting up a new refugium, and could use the algae... if folks are just throwing it away, it would certainly be handy.

shelby and toad, sent you both email.

I hate to throw it away and shipping is a pain (I've done it in the past).
