Ok... I was thinking... could you put a seahorse in a 5 1/2 gallon tank with nothing else in there (other than decoration)? I haven't done it yet, and if it's not a good idea, I will not do it. And if not, what would be the smallest size tank for two? And also, I read that they can't handle strong current, any suggestions on a filter? And... do they prefer a long tank, or a tall tank? Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to this and would not think of getting anything before I researched what would be best for the fish, so please, no one bite my head off. I'm just asking.

visit www.seahorse.org they are the authority
you could keep 30-60 dwarf seahorses in a tank that size. larger ones need much more vertical room at least 21 inches. glad you are asking. do a search at seahorse org you will be able to answer most yuour questions.
