Chiller question

Can anyone tell me if a 1/5 hp chiller will be sufficient on a 180 aga with 3 400W halides. I found a great deal on a used one, but am not sure of it will pull down the temp enoung. Please advise.

Based on this I would think that you might get a drop of 7 or 8 degrees from this chiller. Living in Miami I would suspect this chiller would be undersized. I have a 1/6 HP on my 58 gallon and it seems to be about the right size. If you can get a great deal on it give it a try. You can always sell in on ebay. Chillers go quickly.

I have a 1/3hp chiller on my 127 with 2-250 HQIs. I wouldn't want anything smaller.
