Cheapest power compacts

Im looking at getting 2x55 PC. I've seen that u can buy kits that endup being cheaper than buying one that is already assembled. so can someone tell me where the cheapest place is to buy PC kits at? im a poor college student

I got 6X55 from ahsupply. Cheap, works great. Pretty easy to put together, but looks like crap unless you build a hood for it. On the other hand, you might want to look into VHO. Shortly after I shelled out all the cash for my lights, I read a long thread, with most people arguing that VHO is cheaper in the long run and higher quality light. HTH.

I also went with reeffantic for a 4x96. Bulbs included, need reflector as previous post stated...I think reflector was about $30. Probably not that hard to make a reflector though..??..

marine depot 2X55 watt power compact retrofit if you can turn a screw you can put it together $129 plus they have free shipping over $150 so order some supplements and get the shipping free thats what i did and they let you choose your bulbs and have individual on off for both strips ballast waterproof endcaps included I was very pleased with my order and they are the cheapest i spend 2 weeks online looking

I have 2 x 96 PCs from ahsupply. Their reflectors are excellent. I also think that their reflectors are better for cooling. They are not flat on the top and they include a spacer so that the reflector does not sit flat on top of your hood so you get two easily vented cooling surfaces for the fan that you will need. With a fan heat will not be a problem.
