I have a worm-type thing that resides in some LR I bought. One of the reefers here has it as his main image on his webpage's homepage. It looks like a little tree with the main stalk/trunk being light pink in color. There is a spiral of blue-type feather things swirling around the main shaft all the way to the base. The thing can retract into the rock if there's any type of movement in the water. I'm not sure if it's a worm or a plant. Anyone know what the heck I'm talking about? I really wish I could find that guy's image! It would make things so much easier! Thanks for any info you have.

Well that is bad because I have a pygmy dwarf angel and a small shrimp that hitchiked in from a piece of LR from Tampa Bay Saltwater. Nobody's touched it yet. Are you sure that's what it is?

sounds like it may be a christmas tree worm.
these worms come in various colors. Their bodies can be buried in the rock or extend above it in a tube made of sand.

They need to be fed zooplankton.

Angel fish, wrasses and shrimps will make a meal out of them if it is.
